I've purchased a lot of STEM kits for my kids, and this one is among the best. It's engaging, educational, and really demonstrates how alternative energy works in a simple but effective way. Highly recommend!
Easy to put together but it is more of a kids toy. It was interesting and will get me to a more extensive project.
My grandson took his time with every step in the process. It kept him off video games for hours. If your looking for Eye hand coordination this is a great choice.
Used it for an experiment on Earth Day at an Elementary School to show how BMPs work. Was perfect. Way better than what I was going to do which was to make my own.
Bought for my child's second grade class. They love to use this and learn new things together.
I was skeptical at first, but this toy is actually really cool. The salt water fuel cell was a huge hit, and my son now wants to learn more about green energy. Its awesome when a toy is both fun AND educational!
This is a fantastic STEM kit! The only thing Id love to see is the ability to build multiple models with the same kit, like a solar car or windmill. Otherwise, its a great introduction to renewable energy!
Worked great for 6th grade science project! Easy to put together for 12 year old with a little help.
So educational and fun for all ages! My daughter loved it and she is a teen but she loves science and it was something fun we can do together!
Its a neat STEM project, but some of the parts felt a bit flimsy. We had to be extra careful during assembly. Still, a fun learning experience!
We got this for our homeschool science project, and it was a hit! Its challenging enough to make kids think but not too hard that they get frustrated. Plus, learning about solar and salt water power in a hands-on way is a game-changer!
El niño quedó loco con su molino. Mi sobrino está en proceso de evaluación de TDAH y autismo, y una de las cosas más notables es que no suelta los abanicos ni deja de mirarlos. Para mí, fue un regalo perfecto.
The child seemed to really enjoy it
My grandson is a science geek loves these projects. Thank you
I saw this at one of the gift shops at the Museum of Natural History in New York City. It was being sold at amost doubled the price. Glad I didn't buy it on impulse and got it from Amazon instead!
Took my daughter to the coast recently and drove past the windmill farms. She was fascinated and full of questions so we decided to look into a project. Glad we went with this one. Easy to assemble just wish it was a little better quality. Took quite a bit to get the screws tightened.
My teen used this for her science project. She was able to complete the project all on her own and really enjoyed putting it together.
We liked do8ng experiments with water using this kit. It is a cool visual for kids to learn from.
It's nice to have things spinning around, and a nice addition of a little light wind direction looks great
I love the idea behind this robot, and it definitely works, but I was expecting it to be a little bigger. My son still enjoyed building it, but just a heads-up for other buyers check the dimensions before purchasing!
This object is perfect for my students to be able to take apart and put back together. I use these when I teach about green energy, and not to mention that there is a story that goes along with it
I'm a science teacher and got this to show my class, but when a group of students did not have a project for the science fair I gave this to them. The group did their research well and used the product individually and then put it all together to show how one item works independently and how well they all work together.
